Mono-Potassium Phosphate (MKP) is a white or colourless crystal of high purity that is fully water-soluble and fast dissolving, with a relative density of 2.338 g/cm³ and a melting point of 252.6 ℃. It has a low salt index and the pH of a 1% solution is 4.5; it absorbs moisture easily. It is widely used as a chloride-free water-soluble fertilizer rich in phosphorus and potassium, ideal for foliar application and fertigation systems in saline areas, and suitable for any type of crop and fertigation system: drip irrigation, hydroponics, sprinklers, pivots or foliar spray.
