A fine metallic powder made from industrial ferrophosphorus by crushing, grinding, classifying and de-ironing, used as matrix powder for diamond saw blades, grinding discs and drill bits. During sintering it improves the retention of diamond grit and raises matrix strength, hardness and wear resistance while lowering the sintering temperature. P 22.0–26.0%, Si ≤3.0%, C ≤1.0%, S ≤0.5%, moisture ≤0.2%, residue on 325 mesh ≤1.0% and density 4.5–7.0 g/cm³. Fineness from 325 to 1200 mesh to order; packed 25 kg in PE-lined laminated bags or paper drums, or 500 kg and 1000 kg bulk bags. Keep sealed and dry, and use soon after opening.
