A spherical resin material based on zirconium phosphate, combining the layered structure and ion-exchange properties of ZrP with good sphericity, mechanical strength and flow permeability, and easy to pack and regenerate. It is mainly used in nuclear wastewater treatment (selective removal of ¹³⁷Cs and ⁹⁰Sr from low- and intermediate/high-level waste, effectively distinguishing radioactive ions from ordinary sodium and calcium ions even in high-salinity environments), separation of fission products and actinides in spent-fuel reprocessing, pretreatment and volume reduction of radioactive waste (volume-reduction ratios of 10–100), circulating-water treatment in nuclear power plants and separation and purification of radioisotopes.
